BRIDGE6/4 - Try This First!

The first step in troubleshooting any update problems (before or after an update) is to Factory Reset your device.

Hold FS1 down and then power on your device. Hold for about 7 seconds until all LEDs go white, then release the footswitch.

If the device successfully reboots and goes to the main screen, test the problem again. If it persists, continue with these troubleshooting instructions.

BRIDGE6/4: Manual Firmware Recovery

If your BRIDGE controller is not able to be updated using our firmware updater app for some reason, or your device appears to be dead (no screen and no LEDs after plugging in), you will need to perform a manual firmware update.

Perform a manual firmware update following the instructions in these PDFs. If you don't know the hardware version of your device, you'll need to Contact Us.

BRIDGE6/4: Blank screen & some LEDs lit

This means the incorrect firmware version for your hardware version has been installed. This is only possible by manually installing firmware and installing the wrong firmware version.

To remedy this, perform a manual firmware update following the instructions in this PDF. If you don't know the hardware version of your device, you'll need to Contact Us.

BRIDGE6/4: Screen "White Snow"

This means the incorrect firmware version for your hardware version has been installed.

BRIDGE6/4: Missing UI elements on screen

The fix for this is to Factory Reset your device.

Hold FS1 down and then power on your device. Hold for about 7 seconds until all LEDs go white, then release the footswitch.

If the device successfully reboots and goes to the main screen, hooray! If some UI elements are still missing, please update your firmware.

BRIDGE6/4: Boot Loop

The main fix for this is to Factory Reset your device.

Hold FS1 down and then power on your device. Hold for about 7 seconds until all LEDs go white, then release the footswitch.

If the device successfully reboots and goes to the main screen, hooray! If the boot loop continues, please Contact Us.
